Preface:

"According to the UN resolution 194, all Palestinians have the right to return to their homeland and have the right to self determination. Until this day this right has not been given to us. This cancelled my life and future. My family lives in Jeish, in the north of Safad in Palestine. My grandfather told me so much about this village that even without seeing it, I know the village by heart, each street, house and tree. The village is composed of ancient houses with wooden ceilings. In one part of the village they make bread in the traditional Palestinian way, Next to this are, there is a hamam for women. Then they finish making the bread, they can take a bath there. Because the village is built on a mountain, all the streets are going up. At the top of the mountain, the houses come very close to each other so that two families can speak with each other through the window. In the middle of the village there is a yard, which we called the 'wedding yard'. Now with the occuptation it is called the 'yard of the widows'."
